The innkeepers at Inn on Main in Yarmouth Port mapped out an ice cream crawl from one end of the Cape to the other, ten stops from Four Seas in Centerville to Lewis Brothers in Provincetown, and Buffy’s is the stop in Chatham.
Buffy’s is especially known for its Chatham Ice Cream Bars: handcrafted ice cream sandwiches made with locally baked cookies.
Inn on Main
The guide describes Buffy’s as the town’s only homemade ice cream shop and singles out Chatham Ice Cream Bars, handcrafted ice cream sandwiches made with locally baked cookies, along with three-scoop milkshakes that are widely considered among the thickest on the Cape.
It also recommends Buffy’s as the perfect stop after a walk down Main Street, on the way to Lighthouse Beach or the fish pier.
