Before it became our most popular treat, the Chatham Light Bar was a tribute to the resilience of the Cape. We named our very first product after the iconic Chatham Lighthouse because we wanted to capture the same spirit of tradition and reliability that has defined this coastline for centuries. Just like the lighthouse, this bar is simple in concept but a go-to for ice cream lovers everywhere.

Perched at the “elbow” of Cape Cod, the lighthouse began in 1808 as a pair of wooden towers known as the “Twin Lights.” Though the sea eventually claimed one tower to erosion, the remaining cast-iron landmark stands as an iconic symbol of Chatham’s rich, layered history. We’ve somehow managed to pack those same qualities into the treat you know and love today as our Chatham Light Bar.
